Fresh Lettuce & Leafy Greens

We grow a variety of lettuces and leafy greens on a commercial scale inside two converted shipping containers. This hydroponic, vertical farming platform allows for precision control of our growing environment, and yields delicious long-lasting greens.

The efficiencies of our hydroponic system conserve water, minimize power use, and eliminate the need for pesticides and herbicides. Combined with Ketchikan's hydroelectric grid and our hyper-local production, we offer a sustainable solution to many of the issues brought on by our community’s long and difficult supply chain. 

At any given time we are growing 4-6 varieties of lettuce including; butter, oakleaf, sweet crisp, gem, romaine, & frisée. Each one is picked at the peak of freshness and taste. The final product is a beautiful combination of lettuces that we sell as our LETTUCE BLEND.

Our leafy greens are sold to restaurants as well as blended with our lettuces to make our FARMER'S BLEND product. We love experimenting with new crops to keep things fun and interesting for us and our customers. Some common greens include; Swiss chard, kale, tatsoi, & red-veined sorrel.
